Braving responsibility
Supporting our modern heroes
In a place where no one dare goes

While people sulk at their own homes
Pinpointing at each other’s wrongs
Or continue to go outside
Blaming others for their own plight

Here I am standing on middle ground
Hoping my small voice echoes loud
”Will everyone please stay at home,
And listen to our leaders’ call?

Prayers we need for everyone’s sake,
To win this battle we have to take!”
Shaking, but still unwavering,
I heed the call to public service..
